Bare Conductive - Electric Paint Sachet 10ml
Bare Conductive’s Electric Paint is just like any other water-based paint… except that it’s electrically conductive!
Descrição
Bare Conductive - Electric Paint Sachet 10ml
Draw circuits and sensors with electrically conductive paint using the Electric Paint Sachet from Bare Conductive. This awesome Electric Paint is a conductive ink that can be used to repair breaks, cold solder or draw small circuits. It’s non-toxic, dries at room temperature, and can be applied to any non-conductive, non-hydrophobic surfaces, like paper, plastic, textiles, or wood. This Electric Paint Sachet is the perfect solution for applying small quantities of conductive ink.
Details:
What makes this Electric Paint Sachet awesome?
- Conductive ink is a cool little tool that you can use to repair breaks, cold solder and draw small circuits as it conducts electricity when dry;
- It’s non-toxic and solvent free so safe for kids to use and it dries at room temperature;
- You can apply it to paper, plastic, textiles, wood, or any non-conductive, non-hydrophobic surface;
- The nifty sachet design is resealable and keeps for up to 2 weeks;
- It’s been designed to apply small quantities of the conductive ink so waste is minimal.
Electric Paint FAQs
- Is it toxic? No, it’s water-based, non-toxic and gives off no fumes while drying.
- How long does Electric Paint take to dry? It dries at room temperature in approximately 10-15 minutes. It dries rather than cures.
- What materials can Electric Paint be applied to? Because Electric Paint is water-based it acts like poster paint and can be applied to all sorts of materials, including (but not limited to) paper, cardboard, vellum, wood, metal, plaster, some rubbers, plastics, and many textiles. Hydrophobic materials such as glass and plastics will exhibit poor adhesion, though this can be improved by roughing the surface with sandpaper or similar.
- How easy is it to remove Electric Paint after application? Easy! It can be removed from most surfaces with warm soapy water.
- Can Electric Paint be sealed to make it permanent? Yes! You can easily seal it with paint, varnish, or waterproofing spray. Best of all, even if you do seal and treat it properly, the Electric Paint’s conductive properties do not degrade, and it can maintain its performance for years! If you still want to connect to the paint, a small section of the paint must be left uncoated.
