Microstick Plus Development Board
Do you ever wish you could use your Microstick with an out-of-box, ready-to-use ‘breadboard’? Your wish is our command with the Microstick Plus, a cost-effective hardware and software expansion board for Microstick development boards.
If you own the original Microstick (DM330013) or the Microstick II (DM330013-2), you know they provide designers with an easy-to-use, economic development environment for Microchip’s 16- and 32-bit MCUs and DSCs. But, as they are designed for use with a breadboard, they contain only one test LED. With the Microstick Plus, however, you have a collection of 11 ready-to-use peripheral devices: LEDs, buttons, piezo buzzer, potentiometer, analog temperature sensor, capacitive PCB button, clock crystal, reference voltage generator, USB-UART converter, CAN-BUS driver and I/O expander for MCP2200 USB-UART converter.
This little board is the perfect solution for those looking to develop and program quickly on a low-cost, easy-to-use development platform.
The main advantages of Microstick Plus development board are:
- 11 different peripherals on one board - The board includes easily programmable peripheral devices and peripherals that require high programming knowledge too. Beginners and advanced programmers can found challenges for themselves in learning and training.
- No external power supply needed - Devices which require 3.3V power supply can be powered form Microstick board (through I/O pin) or from USB connectors placed on development board. Devices which require 5V power supply are powered through the USB connector.
- Compact design - 50 mm x 50 mm [ 1.97 inch x 1.97 inch ] - The tool fits into the box of Microstick, so there is no need for separate storage.
- Free code examples - Free code examples are downloadable from the website help the work of beginners.
- Low cost - During the planning of the development tool, we tried to develop the possibly cheapest tool, which is accessible also for students with low budget.
